Medicine is the science of the treatment, care, and prevention of illness and injury. UNCG offers a preprofessional program in medicine that can prepare students seeking professional school admission upon graduation. Some of the many specialty areas of medicine include pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiology, surgery, dermatology, neurology, and endocrinology.
