Dentistry is the branch of medicine that cares for and treats the mouth and teeth. Areas of specialization include orthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and prosthodontics. UNCG offers a preprofessional program in dentistry that can prepare students seek professional school admission upon graduation.
