
Philosophy
is the investigation of reality, perception, morality,
ethics, knowledge, aesthetics, and existence. Philosophical
study involves the analysis, interpretation, and logical
explanation of what individuals believe and value and
how they seek to understand their world. There are many
career opportunities with a Bachelor’s Degree (entry-level
administrative positions in government agencies, business
and non-profit organizations). In addition, many students
go on to graduate school to study areas including law,
the ministry, finance, psychological counseling, teaching,
and diplomacy. UNCG offers a BA in Philosophy and a pre-law
