African American Studies program at UNCG offers undergraduate courses dealing with all facets of the African American experience and research, both in America and throughout the world. These courses provide students with avenues of exploration into the African American experience previously uncharted in university study. Students may want to consider a double major which combines African American Studies with another academic discipline, such as sociology or psychology, to ensure the development of specialized skills.
