Smart career decisions are based on research. To find out what skills you will need in various careers and to understand what the projected demand for your dream job will be upon graduation, use the resources listed below.

Occupational Outlook Handbook- Describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
O*NET Online - Provides occupational information focusing on skills. You can also search for occupations using key words or identify your skills and find matching occupations.
Bureau of Labor Statistics' Projections- Figures and articles concerning the projected future of particular occupations.
America's Career InfoNet- Information about particular occupations (training, outlook, earnings); particular geographic areas (demographic information), trends, and resources.
