Each year colleges and universities across the country recognize and celebrate student employees for their contributions and hard work to individual departments, offices, and even agencies in the greater community.  This year National Student Employee Appreciation Week will take place the week of April 12.  At UNCG, well over 2,000 student employees make up this vital part of our campus community. 

If you have a student employee in your office or department, take this opportunity to thank them and express gratitude for the outstanding support they provide you and your staff. Without their assistance and dedication, we would be at a loss. There are a number of ways to make your student feel special without breaking the bank.  Here is a list of ideas, some of which are relatively inexpensive.

Attention supervisors! Join Student Employment as we celebrate and show our appreciation for our student employees. The festivities will commence with Dr. Callahan’s opening remarks to be followed by the presentation of awards. This year we received a total of 21 nominations for both our Undergraduate and Graduate Student Employee of the Year.  During the ceremony, the winners of each award will be announced and presented with placards.
