UNCG Career Services is one resource, of many, for finding a career-related work experience that will help you test your career goals and hopefully gain a competitive edge when applying for your first job after graduation.
Internships come in all shapes and sizes: paid or unpaid; for academic credit or just for the experience; on campus or off campus; local, national, and international; and short-term, summer only, or throughout the year.
To get started on your internship, call UNCG Career Services to schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor. Also, if you are interested in receiving academic credit for your internship, be sure to call your major department to schedule a meeting with your department’s Faculty Internship Coordinator. Working with both Career Services and your department will help increase your chances of finding a meaningful internship.
