Interns can provide enthusiastic, willing assistance to your business or non-profit. Sponsoring an intern is a great way to cope with work surges, evaluate a potential employee, and gain assistance with special projects, UNCG welcomes employers interested in sponsoring internship experiences for our students.

An intern can be paid or unpaid. However, since the majority of students at UNCG are earning all or part of their college expenses, meaningful internships that provide a stipend or training salary are highly sought after. An intern may be enrolled in an internship course for academic credit or not. What all interns have in common is that they are seeking a quality, supervised, pre-professional experience that will prepare them for the world of work.
