Liability insurance is now available from the UNC system for any college students participating in internships or other experiential learning activities away from campus, for academic credit. This insurance is recommended for student purchase through the student’s faculty internship supervisor. The process is as follows:

Faculty supervising interns should collect the insurance fee from each student (cash or check only) and submit these funds to a designated account within their departmental budget.
