Meet Top Employers Face-To-Face to Discuss Full-time and Internship Opportunities. The 2013 Career Expo is a networking and recruiting event for all UNCG students and alumni of all standings, in all majors that provides an outstanding opportunity for recruiters to talk directly with interested UNCG students and alumni.
In addition to graduating students, underclassmen are encouraged to attend The Career Expo to explore different career paths, find out what is required to obtain jobs of interest, network, and assess what they can do now to better prepare themselves for a career upon graduation.
Dress professionally and bring your UNCG Student ID for faster registration!

Pre-registration is NOT required for students to attend this event.
UNCG's Education Career Day 2013 is sponsored by the Career Services Center and the School of Education. Approximately 100 school systems
from North Carolina and several other states will attend this event.
They will be seeking Pre K-12 teachers for all subjects, as well as
administrators, counselors, social workers, nurses, media specialists,
speech pathologists and dietitians.

- If you are student teaching and do not have a campus permit, you may park at the Greensboro Coliseum (Lot G) and take a shuttle bus to EUC (this is a free service). Shuttle runs 7:45-3:00 every 20 minutes. Last bus leaves EUC at 3:00.

The Career Fair Prep will show you how to use your time effectively, how to prepare for the fair and how to meet and talk with employers.

Smooth Transitions - All Grown Up: A Guide to Professional Conduct Post Graduation
Starting your first job can be a tricky transition. College life and professional life are two very different animals, and it can be tough to move smoothly between the two. If you're having trouble navigating this, we can help with that! Come to the Career Services Center on April 24 from 4pm to 5pm for a crash course on all things professional, including proper attire and etiquette for the workplace, planning and maintaining a budget, and building a professional network. Learning these skills could make the transition into the workplace a very smooth and easy experience.

Congratulations! You're on track to attend graduate school! Now what will you do when you get there? Graduate school can be completely different from undergrad, and it's important to know what to expect before your first day. Therefore, come to the Career Services Center on April 25 from 4pm to 5pm for tips on how to support yourself financially in graduate school, getting involved with your department, and managing your academic, professional, and personal lives. These skills can go a long way toward helping you make the most out of your graduate school experience.
