ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING [
Top]
On-campus recruiting focuses on full-time permanent positions for upcoming graduates and recent alumni as well as internships for all students. UNCG's Fall recruiting season begins the first week of October and extends through the first week of December. Spring recruiting is held from the first week in February through the end of April. This is a free service.
Interested employers should contact the Career Services Center as early as possible, preferably at least six weeks in advance, to schedule desired interview dates.
Pre-Screening allows recruiters to review submitted resumes prior to the campus visit and select part or all of the interview schedule. (At least six weeks notice subsequent to receipt of employer information is required for the pre-screening option.)
Open Sign up allows students to sign up immediately for an interview provided they meet the employer’s criteria.
To streamline your interviewing process, rooms are available at the Career Center at no charge for you to reserve and conduct private interviews. Applicant resumes are submitted to your exclusive password-protected account through SpartanCareers. You can choose to preselect candidates, or have an open schedule. In addition, if you visit campus for interviews after our Job/Internship Fair, students you meet at the fair can be added to your already existing schedule.
How to Participate :
You can request interview date(s) by logging into your SpartanCareers account and clicking on the Interview Schedules section of the top menu bar. If you don't have a SpartanCareers account yet, click here to establish one.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP [
Top]
A
National Association
of Colleges and Employers (NACE) survey indicated
that students rank career centers as "most
helpful" to them during the job search. The
presence of an employer on campus builds a positive
reputation. A strong, continuing presence on campus
also builds long-term relationships with students.
Students not only come to recognize the name and
mission of companies that show up year after year,
they appreciate the commitment they see from that
employer. We would be pleased to list your website
as an “Employer Ally” on our web page.
Career fairs are a way to both establish an initial
presence on campus and build ongoing relationships
with students and career centers. Always, the human
touch goes a long way.
