The
services and programs of The University of North Carolina
at Greensboro’s Career Services Center have been
developed in accordance with the
Principles
for Employment Professionals established by the
National Association
of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Employers using
services and/or facilities of the Center for campus
interviewing, employment listings, candidate referral,
career fairs and/or information group meetings are expected
to follow these guidelines. All employers must abide
by

Third
party recruiters are defined (According to the
NACE
Principles for Professional Conduct) as agencies,
organizations, or individuals recruiting candidates for
temporary, part-time, or full-time employment opportunities
other than for their own needs. This category could include
but is not limited to Employment Agencies, Search Firms,
Resume Referral Firms or Temporary Agencies. Third-party
recruiters will be allowed to utilize the services of
UNCG Career Service Center under the following conditions:
- The applicant is not charged a fee of any kind even
on a contingency basis.
- The third-party recruiter complies with all state
and federal Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
- The third-party recruiter discloses in full to The
UNCG Career Service Center and to applicants the name
of the client or clients that they represent and provides
descriptions of positions for which they are recruiting,
including geographic location. The UNCG Career Service
Center reserves the right to verify this information
by contacting the client or clients.
- The third-party recruiter will not disclose any
applicant information to any employer without first
obtaining the applicant's written consent (in accordance
with the Family
Education Rights and Privacy Act). Under no circumstances
can applicant information be disclosed for reasons
other than recruiting nor can it be provided or sold
to other organizations.
