On April 4th, 2012, the Student Employment Office hosted the annual Part-Time and Summer Job Fair in the Cone Ballroom. Approximately 300 students attended this event looking for summer work.  (read more)


 

Lately it seems like everyone is talking about schools that lead to big paychecks. PayScale, for example, in their 2010-2011 College Salary Report on the "Best Ivy League Schools By Salary Potential", put Princeton, Dartmouth, and Harvard at the top in terms of average earning potential after graduation. But does that mean that people who don't go to these schools are doomed to careers with low earning potential? Hardly. In fact, based on the findings of another PayScale report, "Best Undergrad College Degrees by Salary," your college major could also impact your average earning potential.  (read more)
